Nowacki joins Marenco Swiss Helicopter as COO

Jan Nowacki has been named the new COO of Marenco Swiss Helicopter. He begins his new role Sept. 1.
Nowacki joins Marenco Swiss Helicopter from Airbus Helicopters, where he was head of the rotor blade and airframe division that manufactures composite parts, structural assembly and equipment as well as repair activities.
Marenco Swiss Helicopter will, in its a second production hall in Näfels GL, manufacture rotor blades and composite parts. The new facility has one of the largest autoclaves in Switzerland. The company will also assemble parts in its assembly hall in Mollis.
“In my new task, together with a small and very dynamic team, I will be responsible for the planning and implementation of the series production of the SKYe SH09,” Nowacki said. “We are producing a very competitive helicopter with high quality and security.”
The certification of the SKYe SH09 is expected in 2018 with first deliveries in early 2019. Nowacki’s main tasks will include increasing staffing building a highly qualified workforce.
