July 27, 2009, Longueuil, Que. – Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) has awarded H+S Aviation of Portsmouth, England, Distributor and Designated Overhaul Facility (DDOF) authorization for the repair and overhaul of the PT6T TwinPac turboshaft engine series, used primarily on Bell and Agusta/Bell 212 and 412 helicopters. H+S Aviation is an affiliate of BBA Aviation plc. P&WC is a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) company.

"We are delighted to add this PT6T DDOF to our already extensive relationship with H+S Aviation and the BBA Aviation group," said Maria Della Posta, Vice President, Customer Service, P&WC. "H+S Aviation has extensive rotorcraft engine repair and overhaul capabilities and is well known to operators in Europe and the Middle East. We are confident it will bring enhanced service and support to PT6T operators in the region."
