P&WC offers options for PW200 operators

February 13, 2012  By Carey Fredericks

Feb. 13, 2012, Dallas, Tx. - Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) announced today at Helicopter Association International's HELI-EXPO 2012 that it has introduced an engine exchange program for its PW206B2 model.

Additional PW200 models will become part of this program based on market demand.

The program provides the operator the convenient option of purchasing a zero-timed, overhauled engine to replace their in-service engine which is coming due for overhaul.

"For certain types of operators, this engine exchange program is a cost-effective alternative to the option of overhauling their engine by reducing the logistics involved," said Raffaele Virgili, Vice President, Customer Service, P&WC. "The major benefit to the operator is not having to deploy a rental engine while the overhaul is completed. It also means that the price will be established up front to allow for improved financial planning," added Virgili. The engine exchange program is being offered through the P&WC Customer Service Network.

Come and see us at HELI-EXPO 2012, booth number 3317. Interested operators are invited to drop by P&WC's booth to speak with a customer service representative.
