Pratt & Whitney Canada and L.A. County Fire Dept. sign engine maintenance contract

April 16, 2008, Longeuil, Que. - Pratt & Whitney Canada has signed a three-year engine repair and overhaul contract with the Los Angeles County Fire Dept. to support its fleet of P&WC-powered Bell 412 helicopters.


April 16, 2008, Longeuil, Que. – Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) has signed a three-year engine repair and overhaul contract with the Los Angeles County Fire Department to support its fleet of P&WC-powered Bell 412 helicopters. P&WC is a United Technologies company.

Under the agreement, P&WC will provide engine maintenance for six installed PT6T-3D engines and two spares, used in firefighting, EMS transport, and search and rescue operations.
