Helicopter pilot in dramatic rescue was simply “doing his job”

The former Reginan's job is as a search and rescue technician (or SARTech) with the air force's 424 Transport & Rescue Squadron at 8 Wing Trenton, Ont. – in which capacity he was part of a crew that rescued a construction crane operator in Kingston who'd taken refuge from a fire by running to the end of his crane's boom.

"The nicest guy – and here he was, saving somebody's life. And I knew him," said a delighted Laberge. She said Cisyk is her husband's best friend and was the best man at their wedding. | READ MORE
