June 17, 2009, Gatineau, Que. - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) will release, on June 18, 2009, an update on its investigation into the March 12, 2009 crash of a Cougar Helicopters Sikorsky S-92A.


June 17, 2009, Gatineau, Que. – The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) will release, on June 18, 2009, an update on its investigation into the March 12, 2009 crash of a Cougar Helicopters Sikorsky S-92A off the coast of Newfoundland.

The TSB is an independent agency that investigates marine, pipeline, railway and aviation transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to
assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
