Red Hen Systems to showcase latest products at Heli Expo

February 25, 2013  By Carey Fredericks

March 1, 2013, Fort Collins, Co. - Red Hen Systems will be at the 2013 Heli Expo in Las Vegas March 4th – March 7th to display their geospatial mapping products for the helicopter industry. They will showcase their video map-ping systems including the VMS-333, VMS-HDII and VMSHD-II GasFinder.

Red Hen’s VMS-333 hardware documents geospatial information every second. With the addition of Blue-tooth connectivity and expanded audio output for multi-channel camera systems, geotagging becomes easi-er and more efficient for users.

The VMS-HDII increases the functionality of the VMS-333 with the addition of a nanoFlash recorder from Convergent. It’s portable, lightweight design (weighs less than one pound) is especially suited to collect ge-otagged “path” high definition video from mobile platforms, including helicopters.

Red Hen’s newest product, the VMS HD-II GasFinder is a turnkey pipeline patrol service solution designed for helicopters. The VMS HD-II GasFinder is a high quality system that accurately detects and maps gas leaks. This combination of Red Hen’s video mapping system and a Boreal laser helps enable companies to meet FERC compliance, keep patrol costs down and detect leaks or defects in rugged and inaccessible terrain.

When paired with Red Hen Systems’ software, geotagged videos are viewable through Red Hen System’s server and Google Earth.
