SEI launches Double Drum Tank

March 8. 2011 – SEI Industries Ltd. – Remote Site Division introduces its new Double Drum™ at Heli Expo 2011.

The Double Drum is a double walled, collapsible transportation fabric tank that enables users to sling bulk fuel to remote sites. It comes in 250USG and 500 USG models and is ideal to transport fuel to remote camps for exploration, military, or construction sites.

The Double Drum enables operators to transport bulk fuel to remote sites easily and safely. The outer tank of the Double Drum is made from a 32oz OBU urethane. This fabric is typically used in SEI's type one helicopter Bambi Buckets and is designed to withstand abrasion and puncture. The inner tank is made from SEI's proprietary Jungle King Fuel fabric and is specifically designed to store fuels.

The Double Drum offers significant economical, safety and environmental benefits over traditional fuel drums. It reduces spills from continued handling of drums, prevents fuel loss from condensations and eliminates the need to transport empty fuel drums from remote sites because it folds up small for transport when empty.

The Double Drum combined with SEI's fuel pumping systems are the perfect solution for small fuel caches in remote location.
