Sikorsky Aircraft offers free aviation and product safety training at HELI-EXPO

Jan. 17, 2008 – Return
On Safety Investment Training Session For IHST Members . Sikorsky
Aircraft will provide free training on utilization of ORC's Return on
Health, Safety and Environmental Investments" (ROHSEI) software.

ROHSEI has demonstrated that analytical tools
currently used and accepted by the financial community can be applied
to health and safety investments when appropriate data elements
underpin the analysis. The process allows users to evaluate health and
safety (including aviation safety) investments on a cost/performance
basis.

To utilize the software, ORC requires users undergo
a formal training course. Dr. David M. Eherts, Sikorsky VP – Aviation
Safety, EHS and Medical, is the head of ORC's ROEHSI Users' Group and
will conduct the required training. Upon completion, individuals will
be provided free access to the software.

Enrollment is restricted to individuals from organizations that are members of the International Helicopter Safety Team.

Safety Management System (SMS) Committee Town Hall
Meeting: Members of the IHST Joint Helicopter Safety Implementation
Team's SMS Committee will host a forum to discuss the recently
published SMS Toolkit, answer questions and solicit recommendations on
what tools the Committee can develop to help operators implement a SMS.
