Simplex announces new director of sustaining engineering
March 13, 2012, Portland, Or. - Simplex Aerospace, the industry leader in design, manufacturing and certification of helicopter aerial application equipment, announced Daniel Wright will join the company as its Director of Sustaining Engineering.

Daniel Wright brings 25 years of aviation industry management, engineering and research and development experience along with an expertise in aerospace composites. Wright most recently served as Vice President of Operations for Morgan Aircraft LLC, a start-up aircraft manufacturing company designing a new Vertical Take Off and Landing business-class passenger aircraft. A scaled down version of this aircraft is under development for Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) mission requirements as well. Wright has also lead projects for the Bell 206 twin engine retrofit, Pratt & Whitney PT6 Dual Pac Program, Cessna 206 and 207 turbine conversions, Boeing, Airbus, and other experimental aircraft manufacturers.
