HAC show offers countless opportunities

Oct. 18, 2012, Calgary - While it's certainly cooling down outside, the fall aviation trade show circuit in Canada and abroad is heating up with a number of key events scheduled over the next couple of months.


And while the fixed wing side has many intriguing shows to offer, the
rotary brethren also has some intriguing options, including a second
conference this year from the Helicopter Association of Canada. HAC is
expanding its convention and trade show offerings with a second trade
show and general meeting Nov. 2-5 at the Westin Calgary Hotel in
Calgary. The four-day event brings together some of the top minds in the
Canadian helicopter industry and will explore many critical issues. A
full slate of committee meetings is planned as are key educational
sessions including  Flying in the Wire and Obstruction Environment,
Helicopter Long Line and Cargo Net Maintenance and Inspection, and
Managing Employee Risk and Cost for the Helicopter Operator.

Top speakers will also be on hand to share their expertise, including
Transport Canada Director General of Civil Operation Martin Eley, Eric
Smith, a senior investment specialist with the Industrial Technologies
Office of Canada, Hugh Roberts, publisher of CP Manuals, and Wendy
Tadros, a Transportation Lawyer with the Transportation Board of Canada.
And while their will be plenty of opportunities to hunker down and
concentrate on business, there will also be an opportunity to mix and
mingle and have a good time. HAC's "After Hours" party at the Palomino
Bar and Grill on Sunday, Nov. 4.
