“Sales of PT6 and APU parts were up significantly last year,” said EXTEX President Larry Shiembob. “Even with that growth, components for the Rolls-Royce 250 series remain our largest product line and we want to make sure we continue to provide the highest level of service to which our RR250 customers have become accustomed.”
To increase focus on this objective, EXTEX has added four sales professionals to its worldwide sales staff and promoted Larry Batchelor, formerly director of the company’s general aviation business unit, to vice president of sales and marketing with responsibility for general aviation products. Batchelor joined EXTEX in 2004.
New members of the sales staff include:
· Vincent Maloney becomes a general aviation sales representative specializing in EXTEX’s PT6 program.
· Valentino Medved, Shari Turan and Charlene King each joined EXTEX as general aviation sales representatives for the company’s Rolls-Royce 250 series program.
Each of the new employees brings extensive experience in sales and customer service in the aerospace or high technology industries. Each will be headquartered at the company headquarters here.
Maloney joined EXTEX after 20 years of sales and marketing experience, most recently with AirStation Aviation. Turan came aboard following eight years working with the Roll-Royce product line with Timken and AeroMaritime America companies. King joined bringing 33 years of sales experience in aerospace, automotive and high technology, most recently with Andigilog, Inc. Medved joined from H-S Tools and Parts. His experience includes extensive business-to-business sales with Canadian companies.
“We are fortunate to have found these experienced professional to enhance our sales team,” Batchelor said. “Their knowledge of the products and the industry will be a valuable asset when assisting customers in selecting the components they need.”
