Pfaffenberger joins Pheonix Heliparts’ team

Sept. 6, 2011, Mesa, Ariz. - . Phoenix Heliparts, Inc. is continuing its expansion by appointing Paul Pfaffenberger as engineering program manager. He will oversee all engineering projects, his focus areas being Phoenix’s STC and PMA projects for MD500 helicopters.


Pfaffenberger brings to Phoenix an extensive background in aircraft engineering with over 25 years experience in the design, manufacture and certification of FAA-approved helicopter components and accessories. He was a founder and engineering director of FAA-PMA manufacturer EXTEX (now a unit of Timken) that held over 300 turbine engine approvals. He has completed conformity inspections and airworthiness releases as an FAA designee and has written test plans and performed engine tests in support of FAA approvals. Most recently, he completed contracts with Southwest Turbines, a repair station and PMA manufacturer in Phoenix, Arizona.
