United Rotorcraft Solutions announces new general manager

Jan. 29, 2008, Decatur, TX – David Brigham, President/Owner of United Rotorcraft Solutions (URS), is pleased to announce that Les Batman has joined URS as the General Manager.

Mr. Batman brings over 38 years of aviation experience to United Rotorcraft Solutions.  This experience ranges from helicopter maintenance technician to inspector, Director of Maintenance and VP of Operations.  His range of knowledge on the various helicopter models is extensive, but his expertise in program and project management is a significant asset.

“With the company’s continuing growth, it is imperative that customers’ schedules and budgets are maintained.” says Brigham.  “Adding the position of general manager was necessary to meet our growing commitments and having Les fill this position is an added bonus.  His skills will not only allow us to keep pace with deliveries, but will enhance the future growth of URS”.

United Rotorcraft Solutions, FAA Repair Station UX9R241Y, provides aircraft completions and refurbishment services, systems integration, maintenance, component overhaul, customized interior installations and unsurpassed exterior finishing on most model helicopters and some fixed wing aircraft.  They also offer FAA approved NVG compatible lighting systems for many models.
