Feb. 19, 2009,  Richmond, B.C. – Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services North America will once again be exhibiting at Heli-Expo (Booth # 2922).

Feb. 19, 2009,  Richmond, B.C. – Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services North America (Vector), the worlds largest independent provider of helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services will once again be exhibiting at Heli-Expo (Booth # 2922).

Coming off a successful 2008 that included major contract wins, Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) development and integration of the world’s first Sikorsky S61 Integrated Cockpit Display System (“glass cockpit,” and with similar accomplishments on several Bell helicopter models), the opening of a new repair and overhaul facility in Alabama, and hosting of the 2008 International SEA KING Maintenance Symposium, Vector arrives at HAI 2009 prepared to market its diverse range of MRO services to the international helicopter community.

Also, in early 2008 Vector Aerospace acquired the rotary-wing and components divisions of the Defense Aerospace Repair Agency, situated in the United Kingdom.  As a result, Vector’s Helicopter Services division added considerable expertise and experience in support of the AgustaWestland SEA KING, Lynx and Chinook platforms from its newly-acquired Almondbank and Fleetlands locations.

In addition to profiling its traditional MRO portfolio that includes engines (Pratt & Whitney PT6T, Rolls Royce model 250, Arriel 1 and General Electric T58 / CT58), dynamic components and structures (comprehensive support for a variety of Sikorsky, Bell and Eurocopter models) and full-service avionics, HAI 2009 will enable Vector to introduce additional offerings to helicopter operators through its knowledgeable Sales team and static displays, and by co-exhibiting aircraft that demonstrate Vector’s diverse capability to develop and support solutions that extend the life
of aircraft, improve reliability, and reduce operator cost.

Examples include developing programs such as General Electric T700 / CT7A engine repair and overhaul, comprehensive structural and airframe support, refurbishments and heavy inspections, and glass cockpit STC development (Vector will exhibit a fully-restored Bell 407 with prototype SAGEM Avionics ICDS; available for immediate sale, located at booth #2347).

Vector Aerospace Corporation is an independent provider of aviation repair and overhaul services.  Through facilities in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, Vector provides services to commercial and military customers for various types of gas turbine engines, components and helicopter airframes.  It also provides information technology solutions to an international customer base.  Principal operations include Vector Aerospace Engine Services Atlantic (formerly Atlantic Turbines), Vector Aerospace Engine Services UK Limited (formerly Sigma Aerospace), Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services (formerly ACROHELIPRO Global Services), Vector Aerospace International Limited (rotary and component repair business of DARA acquired from the Ministry of Defense in the United Kingdom) and Pathix ASP.  The Company has approximately 2,500 employees.
