Vector Aerospace receives engine repair approval

Sept. 29, 2010, Victoria, B.C. - Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services-North America has received Turbomeca Engine Corporation (Turbomeca) approval for full repair and overhaul on the Arriel 2 engine.

Under the licensing agreement, Vector will be able to provide operators in North America comprehensive Arriel 2 engine repair and overhaul support, including full test capability.

Vector senior vice-president of sales and marketing John MacDougall said that the company would now increase the current levels of maintenance and overhaul support offered for the Arriel 2B, 2B1, 2C, 2C1, 2C2, 2S1 and 2S2 series of engines.

"The upgrade of our engine test cell will be complete by early October, so we're ready to address all customer requirements and working diligently to ensure we deliver superior quality and customer satisfaction in each and every transaction," he said.
