VIH Aerospace has earned AS9100 Rev D Quality Management Systems Certification for its facility in North Saanich, British Columbia. This international certification enlarges the requirements of ISO 9001 to meet the demands of the aviation, space and defense industries.

Operating as the manufacturing and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) division of VIH Aviation Group, VIH Aerospace (VIHA) explains the aerospace industry strongly supports AS9100 Rev D as a principal certification.

“Attaining the AS9100 Rev D status is a great accomplishment for our company, as it allows VIHA to standout in the marketplace as a member of an elite group of companies to hold this level of certification,” said Arne Arneson, general manager, VIH Aerospace. “Achieving this standard took dedication from our entire team and I am very proud of our employee’s dedication in reaching this goal. Being AS9100D certified will assist VIHA in growing our business and expanding our customer base.”

Located near the Victoria Airport in Sidney, BC, VIH Aerospace – in line with its manufacturing and MRO services – offers STC development and integrations. It is a Bell-approved Customer Service Facility.
