Volatus Aerospace of Montreal has been appointed as a channel partner for UAV manufacturer DJI. In two agreements, Volatus becomes part of the DJI Enterprise distribution network and the first DJI-UTC authorized training centre in Canada.

Volatus explains the DJI Enterprise dealership is an important building block for its growth in the area of commercial use. The company points to how DJI develops and customizes solutions for enterprise users, including missions like infrastructure inspections, gas leak detection, powerline inspections, first response, and precision agriculture .

β€œThe DJI Enterprise commitment is entirely synchronous with the Volatus Aerospace commitment to drive the full potential of unmanned technologies throughout industries in the Americas,” said Rob Walker, Vice President of Business Development for Volatus.

Volatus has also been authorized as the first DJI-UTC Training Academy DJI Enterprise in Canada, focusing on programs like UAS Pilot Training, Aerial Photography Essentials, UAS Inspection, Public Safety, Surveying & Mapping. β€œ[This] is a strong endorsement of what Volatus Aerospace has already put together in the training arena,” said Walker.
