In an effort to further impact the aviation industry, WBAT for Aviation Safety, Inc. has announced its new website, www.aviationsafety.org, designed to serve as a resource for the entire industry.
WBAT FAS is the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit arm of the public-private partnership formed with the FAA to deliver the WBAT (web based aviation technology) suite of tools to all sectors of the aviation community in addition to promoting aviation safety awareness and education.
“The WBAT FAS mission has always been to promote aviation safety through the support and feedback of the aviation community. Our Board of Directors feels strongly that this new website is a huge step toward our goal to become a resource for the entire industry,” said Board member and Cargo 121 representative Jim Willson, who is Manager of Safety Programs at FedEx Express.
In addition to WBAT product and services information, the new website features a news section dedicated to aviation safety news and education. The site brings increased functionality and resources that allow WBAT to better serve its growing community and the aviation industry as a whole.
WBAT FAS offers highly customizable safety software services for the aviation community. Our commitment is to support safety initiatives across all facets of aviation, from operations on the ground to operations in the sky, while ensuring that client systems meet both regulatory and company compliance requirements.
