BOOST receives TCCA certification for Airbus H125/AS350 Quick Release Cargo Basket

(Photo: BOOST Systems) Boost Systems on December 5, 2023, announced it has been awarded a Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for its Airbus H125/AS350/355 Quick Release Cargo Basket. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification in pending.
“With a cargo capacity of 500 lbs, the BOOST Basket offers the largest cargo capacity of all H125/AS30/355 baskets available on the market today,” explains Jeff Yarnold, VP of Operations, Boost Systems.
The BOOST Basket can be installed on either side of the aircraft, explains the company, and the quick release installation mechanism allows for installation and removal of the basket without tools. The basket itself is made of corrosion resistant stainless steel with powder coating. Baskets are available in white, black and custom colours.
BOOST Systems also provides an optional Boarding Step to facilitate boarding and egress of the aircraft.
