announced that their affiliated partner, DART Aerospace Ltd., has
recently received EASA approval for their Heli-Utility-Basket for
AS350/AS355 model helicopters.
DART Helicopter Services has announced that their affiliated partner, DART Aerospace Ltd., has recently received EASA approval for their Heli-Utility-Basket for AS350/AS355 model helicopters.
DART’s lightweight basket is constructed of steel with a high-gloss, white scratch resistant finish and includes a fabric webbing mesh lid. It is available in short or long versions and is ideal for operators seeking a lightweight cargo expansion solution who do not require the higher volume baskets alternatively offered by DART.
The lightweight baskets weigh only 25 lbs. (short) or 35 lbs. (long) but both are approved for a load capacity of 200 lbs. All AS350/AS355 Baskets offered by DART, can be installed LH, RH or both sides simultaneously. Operators can install or remove the basket in minutes with the easy bolt on installation and the optional Quick Release Pip Pin Kit can further speed the process.
