Sept. 18, 2013, London, Ont. - Mark MacKenzie, president/CEO of DAVWIRE, announced today that DAVWIRE was awarded a contract in a competitive bid to supply the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and Eastern Health with 25 ALPHA Eagle aircrew helmets for Eastern Health’s Emergency Medical Technicians with a three-year standing order to supply additional helmets as required.

The helmets will be used by Eastern Health’s Emergency Medical Technicians on board Medevac helicopters throughout the province.

The world famous ALPHA aircrew helmets are used by military and civil pilots of fast jets, fixed wing planes and helicopters, including the new ALPHA Eagle which has become the industry’s leading ultra-light high comfort aircraft helmet, designed specifically for supreme comfort and is already used by commercial operators throughout the world.

In addition, DAVWIRE recently launched a new website solely dedicated to the marketing, sales and customer support of ALPHA Aircrew Helmets (www.alphahelmets.com). This interactive e-commerce website provides complete details on the features, benefits and options of the new ALPHA EAGLE Helmet as well as instructions on determining the correct helmet size. The site allows buyers to order on-line and provides current ALPHA helmet owners with the ability to order parts for their helmets.
