Drone Delivery Canada’s DSV project now operational
March 25, 2020 By Helicopters Staff

Drone Delivery Canada Corp. announced that its DSV Air & Sea Inc. Canada project is now commercially operational. The company entered into a commercial agreement with DSV back in October 2019, through its sales agent Air Canada, to provide a drone delivery platform based at DSV’s head office in Milton, Ontario.
DSV is a global transport and logistics provider that manages supply chains for thousands of companies – from the small family-run business to large corporations – with 60,000 employees in more than 90 countries.
Drone Delivery Canada (DDC) expects to achieve multiple subsequent inbound/outbound commercial routes for DSV’s customers with what it describes as time-sensitive cargo. These customers pay DDC a monthly fee for each drone route deployed.
“This is a significant commercial landmark for the company – our first operational, commercialized customer is now live,” said Michael Zahra, president and CEO of DDC. “DSV is a global leader in the logistics industry and a perfect fit as a long-term, scalable customer for us.”
Zahra continues to explains that DDC expects to make more announcements in 2020 for the deployment and revenue generation of its services.
“With the commercial roll-out, we are looking ahead with our clients based on their unique needs and requirements,” said Martin Roos, managing director, DSV Air & Sea, Canada. “Many of our key clients are excited and ready to be part of these innovative next steps.”
