British-based GetHeli and French-based helicopter airline Alpes Hélicoptères, part of Léman Aviation, created a partnership to provide a new helicopter service to start in Courchevel for the current ski season.

The cross-channel collaboration is based on a flight pooling system that allows passengers to book individual seats on helicopters, merging multiple travel requests. The two companies describe the program as a cost-effective system that challenges traditional charter models, with the goal of making luxury air travel more accessible.

This British-French partnership is underpinned by mutual exclusivity agreements: GetHeli grants Alpes Hélicoptères exclusive rights to use its flight pooling technology in the French and Swiss regions; and Alpes Hélicoptères commits to channel all of its flight pooling bookings through the GetHeli platform.
