HAI & Aviation industry oppose $100 Obama aviation tax

Sept. 22, 2011 – HAI President Matt Zuccaro joined a multitude of leaders from aviation trade associations in co-signing letters this week to the U.S. Congress, expressing strong opposition to the proposed $100 tax on the aviation industry as part of President Obama's deficit reduction plan.


Sept. 22, 2011 – HAI President Matt Zuccaro joined a multitude of leaders from aviation trade associations in co-signing letters this week to the U.S. Congress, expressing strong opposition to the proposed $100 tax on the aviation industry as part of President Obama's deficit reduction plan.

Important contributions from our industry help support the recoverying U.S. economy. Taxes disguised as fees will further undermine economic recovery and will not produce more jobs in the helicopter industry.
