Helicopter experts form new partnership

May 8, 2012, Long Branch, N.J. - Raymond A. Syms & Associates and RJ Alexander Consulting have combined their 75 years of helicopter, aviation and heliport consulting and operational experience to form HeliExperts International LLC, the most qualified and experienced heliport firm in the U.S.


For more than 40 years, Ray Syms and his aeronautical firm Raymond A Syms & Associates of Long Branch, N.J., have provided solid design, regulatory, legal and operational advice to its clients at every level, encompassing hundreds of projects worldwide. Established in 2004, RJ Alexander Consulting LLC, owned by Rex Alexander, built an exemplary track record with multiple federal, state, and industry groups, emphasizing safety, operations, education and training in the helicopter, air medical and heliport industries.

The HeliExperts team’s accomplishments go beyond individual client success stories. Syms and Alexander have developed their own unique qualifications within the FAA and NFPA and have taught heliport design and inspection courses at the FAA’s training center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and at numerous NFPA fire safety conferences.
 
Syms is a 10,000+ hour pilot with extensive experience in heliport design. He co-authored the Helicopter Association International Heliport/Vertiport Development Guide and enjoys a 100% success rate in heliport approvals from the NFPA and federal and state entities. Alexander has 25 years of industry and leadership experience in military, offshore and air medial operations as a pilot, manager and maintenance technician. He is a nationally recognized speaker and educator on aviation and air medical safety and is the former president of the National EMS Pilot Association.
