March 13, 2024 By Helicopters Staff
Bell Textron reached an agreement with Japan General Aviation Service Group (JGAS) to acquire Japan’s first Designer Series Bell 429 helicopter. JGAS provides aircraft sales and aftermarket support services.
After delivery, Japan Biz Aviation (JBZ), a subsidiary of JGAS, will utilize the Bell 429 to provide corporate relocation and other services in Japan. This will be the second Bell helicopter operated by JBZ.
“We are honoured by the trust JBZ has placed in Bell through their purchase of the first Designer Series Bell 429 helicopter,” said Takuya Masamura, country manager, Bell Japan.
Bell explains the Designer Series elevates the 429 cabin to a level of luxury through leathers, upholstery and hardwood flooring, as well as metal finishes and colour schemes throughout the interior.
Over 450 Bell 429s operate globally, accumulating over 602,000 flight hours to date
