Feb. 25, 2015, Richmond, B.C. - Vector Aerospace Corporation has announced that Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services – North America (HS-NA), will be featuring an AS350 Primary Fuel Tank static display at their booth #3212 at HAI Heli-Expo 2015 in Orlando, Florida March 3-5.

Designed in cooperation with Robertson Fuel Systems LLC, the direct replacement Primary Fuel Tank features multiple safety enhancements; including all new modernized fuel retention technology, new components, and increased fuel capacity (567 Liters vs. 552 Liters). Vector Aerospace and Robertson Fuel Systems are targeting the AS350B2 retrofit market initially. The modernized fuel tank is also compatible with the AS350 series and EC130 aircraft.

“The combination of Vector Aerospace’s engineering expertise and Robertson’s extensive experience in fuel system development allows us to offer a modern, reliable safety enhancement option to the AS350 aircraft market,” said Elvis Moniz, vice president of operations at Vector HS-NA. “We are excited to be working with Robertson Fuel Systems to obtain STC certification for this fuel tank.”

Robertson's Aviation Fuel System Design Manager, Quinn Canole echoed Mr. Moniz's comments: "Robertson is the acknowledged world leader in survivable auxiliary fuel systems for military helicopters, but this civilian primary fuel system is an important new direction for us. We are delighted to collaborate with a company having Vector's breadth and depth of experience. We are confident this new product will only enhance the safety and serviceability of the AS350."

Vector Aerospace encourages customers to visit them at booth #3212 during HAI Heli-Expo 2015 to view the new fuel tank display and learn more about this safely enhancement option for AS350 series aircraft.
