Atlantis Systems awarded Canadian Forces contract

Sept. 8, 2010, Toronto - Atlantis Systems Corp. today announced that its division, Atlantis Systems Eduplus (ASE), located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, has started work under a new contract with the Canadian Air Force for the development of a job performance system for the fleet of CH146 Griffon Tactical Helicopters.
This contract is a three (3) year contract with a one (1) year option that will support technicians during the removal, installation and functional testing of the CH146 Griffon Mission Kits.
"Some of the tactical helicopter mission configurations can be quite complex, so this system will allow technicians to receive instructions and actually practice their on-the-job tasks in a 3D virtual environment. The system will decrease a technician's time to proficiency and allow them to perform their job more efficiently and safely" said Carl Daniels, Vice-President & General Manager of ASE. "The Air Force is transforming the way that technicians train and are supported on the job. Atlantis is pleased to be at the forefront of this transformation".
