New funding model brings stability to Alberta HERO service

Funding commitments from the province and oil companies will help ease the financial burden on the company running air medevac services in the Wood Buffalo region during the next two years.

Alberta Health Services (AHS) will spend $1 million annually over the next two years to cover the service, while the municipality and a coalition of oil companies will also spend $1 million each. | READ MORE
