OHI appoints Goyer as CSO

Jeff Goyer becomes Group Chief Safety Officer for Omni Helicopters International S.A., an air mobility company with its main subsidiary being Omni Taxi Aereo Brazil. The company is described as Brazil’s largest private helicopter service provider with a fleet of more than 60 helicopters, 8 active fleet programs, and a network of over 10 bases.

OHI’s explains its business model is based on three pillars: First, pursuing local excellence via the transfer of proprietary intellectual capital in safety, reliability and cost-efficiency; second, providing sustainable access to investment in the sector; and, third. continuous innovation with flexible and customized service that enhances efficiency in the oil and gas supply chain.

Goyer has more than 25 years of experience in the air mobility industry, having been focused on leading and influencing safety and operational improvements at a global level. He began his aviation career in the challenging environments of the Arctic, Africa, and South America, where his early focus was on maintenance and operational management in both airline and B2B charter operations.

Goyer joined Hart Aviation PTY in 2005, leading a team of experts in the Americas who provided safety and aviation advisory services to various end-user industries (including energy and mining), Fortune 500 companies, and high net worth individuals around the globe. For the last 11 years, Goyer has managed aviation safety for Hess Corporation, recently serving as Vice Chairman of the IOGP Aviation Sub Committee and Chairman of Helicopter Safety Advisory Conference.
