Feb. 14, 2012, Dallas, Tx. - Sikorsky Aerospace Services (SAS) today announced the launch of its new HELOTRAC 2X software system supporting Sikorsky’s commercial rotary platforms.

Offering advanced features over Sikorsky’s legacy HELOTRAC RL®system, this new Web-based program records, manages and reports essential information for enhanced fleet management operations.

“The HELOTRAC 2X system is a sophisticated yet low cost maintenance tool that helps reduce our customers’ operating expenses. The new program provides many advanced capabilities that help alleviate the maintenance burden on our customers,” said Peter Fuchs, SAS Director of Analytics & Technology. “HELOTRAC 2X is a commercial off-the-shelf solution available from any internet-based computer. By eliminating the need for downloads or software installations, our customers can easily and quickly access their fleet information anytime, anywhere.”

HELOTRAC 2X is flexible and scalable to support any size fleet. It provides access to aircraft compliance information with instant links to OEM service bulletins and FAA Airworthiness Directives and offers scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tracking. It also monitors and reports maintenance Due Projections, History Log and Archival and offers direct interface to Interactive Electronic technical Manuals (IETMs). Additionally, the HELOTRAC 2X system is capable of integrating to aircraft equipped with Health Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS) providing real-time aircraft status.

The new HELOTRAC 2X system supports Sikorsky’s S-434™, S-76®, S-92® and S-70i™ aircraft platforms as well as non-Sikorsky rotary and fixed-wing aircraft platforms. Inventory Maintenance Work Order and Ground Support Asset Tracking (GSATS) modules are forecasted to be available by the end of this year.
