United Rotorcraft Solutions to give away TSO’d night vision goggles at AMTC

Oct.16, 2008, Decatur, TX – United Rotorcraft Solutions (URS), as exclusive distributor, will give away a set of the NIVISYS NVAG-6 Night Vision Aviator Goggles, the ONLY goggles to receive FAA Technical Standard Orders (TSO) Authorization.

These are the first goggles to obtain this certification. They are qualified to ANVIS 9 OMNI four specifications and Mil 9110C environmental testing.  The goggle set includes the goggles, mount, low profile battery pack, carrying case and lens covers.

Not only is United Rotorcraft Solutions the exclusive distributor for these goggles but they also have the capability to perform the Manufacturers recommended six month inspection and re-certify goggles with a 72 hour turn time.

URS will also display an instrument panel reflecting their Night Vision Modifications.  United Rotorcraft with partner, Ahlers Aerospace, now have several STC’s to modify various model helicopters for night vision operations utilizing external NVIS White filters of glass or poly carbon applied to both instruments and displays. Their combined resources allow STC and new technology development at a faster rate with lower costs to customers.
