Vector Helicopter Services Appoints Bede Rocks as Director, Business Development

Nov. 17, 2008, Vancouver - Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services (Vector) is pleased to announce that Bede Rocks has joined the Vector Aerospace team in the newly-created position of Director, Business Development - Australasia.  Effective immediately.


Nov. 17, 2008, Vancouver – Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services (Vector) is pleased to announce that Bede Rocks has joined the Vector Aerospace team in the newly-created position of Director, Business Development – Australasia.  Effective immediately, Rocks is responsible for business development and customer service activities for the Vector Aerospace group throughout Australasia; representing both Vectors’ fixed and rotary-wing operations.

Phil Kemp, Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services -Vice President of Sales expresses his pleasure with Rocks addition to the Vector team. “Bede is a well-respected aviation professional with nearly 40 years of industry experience in Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, India, China, Angola, Nigeria, South Africa and the Pacific Rim. His extensive aviation management experience, augmented with an impressive array list of technical qualifications and certifications from some of the industry’s leading OEM’s and aerospace manufacturers enables him to support his customers with a detailed understanding of operator requirements, and a long history of exceeding customer expectations.

Kemp continues, explaining that Rock has held senior management roles with several OEM’s, helicopter operators, engine overhaul facilities, regional airlines, general aviation (as an owner/operator), flight schools, aviation consulting, CASA (airworthiness inspector) and ATSB (accident investigator). Based on his list of credentials and experience Rock undoubtedly enhances Vector’s ability to provide best-in-class maintenance, repair and overhaul services to operators throughout the Australasian rotary and fixed-wing markets.
