VIH Aerospace now performing H130, H125 inspections

VIH Aerospace has delivered an Airbus EC130B4 which required an Annual Inspection in addition to a 150-hour inspection, to a prominent, private customer in Western Canada.


Jeff Norie, Director of Maintenance for VIH Aerospace explains that as a component of expanding VIHA’s service offering to helicopter operators, the company has placed a renewed focus on performing both scheduled and un-scheduled inspections for operators of all aircraft types supported by VIHA. “We are utilizing our expertise across the various platforms we have supported over many years to extend our MMRO support to Airbus H130 and H125 (formerly AS350) customers, in addition to performing similar inspections and MRO support for a variety of Bell light and medium; the Sikorsky 61 and Leonardo AW139 operators.”

Norie continues, explaining the overall workscope for the Annual Inspection and 150-hour inspections encompassed a variety of activities including deep-cycle battery maintenance, ensuring compliance to all Airworthiness Directives (including all Supplemental Type Certified/installed equipment) and identification and rectification of any minor or major unserviceable conditions.
