Aerobee takes delivery of first Bell 407GXi in the Philippines

Bell Textron announced the delivery of the first Bell 407GXi helicopter in the Philippines to Aerobee Corporation.

“Now available with full IFR certification and backed by industry-leading aftermarket support for which Bell is globally renowned, the Bell 407GXi with its multi-mission capabilities is a benchmark for this region,” said Sameer Rehman, managing director, Asia Pacific, Bell. “Our Filipino customers are important to Bell’s success, and we are privileged that Aerobee in Manila has selected the new Bell 407GXi to enhance their offerings.”

Founded in 2020, Aerobee Corporation is focused on the distribution and sale of products and services in the Philippine aviation and agriculture industry. Aerobee’s Bell 407GXi helicopter comes equipped with an auto-pilot feature and a new interior with better support for connectivity with mobile devices and computers.

There are more than 1,590 Bell 407s operating around the world in six continents, surpassing six million total fleet flight hours operating multiple profiles such as public safety, utility, helicopter emergency medical services, corporate transportation, armed multi-role and training.

The Bell 407GXi features a Rolls-Royce M250-C47E/4 dual-channel FADEC turbine engine, with the ability to cruise at 133 kts (246 km/h). It also comes equipped with the Garmin G1000H NXi Integrated Flight Deck.
