Global Aerospace named insurance advisor for FAA

June 1, 2012, Parsippany, N.J. - Global Aerospace, Inc. has been selected as the Aviation Insurance Claims Manager and Advisor for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Global Aerospace will provide insurance expertise, assist in claims settlements and advise the FAA on commercial aviation insurance matters with respects to war risk coverage provided by the FAA as authorized by Congress.
Global Aerospace will serve as Aviation Claims Manager and Advisor for both the premium war risk insurance, provided to 64 U.S. air carriers for their commercial flights, and non-premium war risk insurance, provided to 34 U.S. air operators who are under contract to the Department of Defense (DOD). The FAA has immense responsibilities to these airlines, and has chosen Global Aerospace’s experienced claims management services to assist in the handling of high risk, complex events.
