Heli-One has established in-house testing capability for the AW139 Intermediate Gear Box and Tail Gear Box at its Canadian facility in Delta, British Columbia. Heli-One explains this service portfolio expansion not only expedites the turnaround times for customers at the BC base but also widens the service options for AW139 operators globally.

“The modification program to our gearbox test cell to incorporate the AW139 IGB and TGB adds a new dimension to our service offering,” said Carolyn Forsyth, General Manager of Sales, Commercial & Customer Support, Heli-One. “It smooths and shortens the gearbox overhaul process, and in turn can enable operators to optimize their asset availability. In a broader context, it’s yet another demonstration of our determination to remain at the forefront of MRO provision internationally.”

Heli-One is a Leonardo Helicopters Authorized Component Repair Centre and Airframe Service Centre, offering MRO services ranging from major inspections to small component repair. Heli-One also offers extensive avionics and rescue equipment maintenance services to AW139 operators as well as custom modifications and repairs developed by Heli-One design engineers.

A segment of CHC Helicopter, Heli-One has MRO operations in Richmond and Delta, British Columbia; Stavanger, Norway; and Rzeszow, Poland.
