MD Helicopters expands service and parts network

February 15, 2024  By Helicopters Staff

MD Helicopters based in Mesa, Arizona, announced two new additions to its global network of service providers. Clemens Aviation of Wichita, Kansas, is now an MD Helicopters Authorized Service Center (ASC), and Seaside Helicopters of Mesa, Arizona, became an MD Helicopters Authorized Spare Parts Retailer.

“We made a commitment to our customers to reduce response times by increasing and expanding the geographical location of our MDH service providers,” says MD Helicopters (MDH) President and CEO Brad Pedersen. “As we continue to deliver on that promise, we are thrilled to welcome these two extremely reputable companies with proven track records of superior service to our service network.”

Clemens Aviation holds its own fleet of MD 500E and 530F model helicopters. With the launch of its MDH Authorized Service Center, the company will specialize in E-to-F conversions, being one of four ASCs currently performing this upgrade. Additionally, Clemens Aviation has developed what MDH describes as an innovative cockpit panel upgrade, set to receive an STC for broader market availability.

“Establishing our business as an MDH Authorized Service Center is a natural progression of our dedication to quality service, and the added capability of offering E-to-F conversions allows us to extend the benefits and convenience to our customers,” said Dwayne Clemens, owner of Clemens Aviation.

With more than 30 years of experience serving the MDH community, Seaside Helicopters’ customer base includes several large law enforcement agencies that require fast, reliable service for mission success, including Pasadena and Mesa police departments.

Seaside Helicopters recently relocated to Mesa from San Diego to enhance its regional and geographical strategic position to support MD Helicopters customers.

“We’re excited for this partnership with MD Helicopters, but most importantly, we’re thrilled about what this partnership means for our customers,” says Seaside Helicopters Owner Ashley D’Attilio. “Many of our customers are working on time-critical jobs in challenging environments. We know how important getting the required parts on time is for our customers and our partnership with MDH helps us ensure our customers are supported when they need it most.”
