Steve Wright named vice president of Blackcomb Aviation
March 8, 2011 By Carey Fredericks
March 8, 2011, Vancouver - Blackcomb Aviation’s Chief Executive Officer, Sacha McLean, on Wednesday announced that Steve Wright has been appointed Vice President.
This appointment coincides with the expansion of Blackcomb Aviation’s fleet and executive travel services in response to renewed interest from the public and private sector in jet and helicopter charters, and aircraft management services.
“Steve Wright is an experienced aviation professional,” commented McLean . “He has done an excellent job for us during a challenging economic time and played a key role in growing our customer base, streamlining our business strategy, and keeping our aircraft busy. His 27 year track record speaks for itself – pilot, founder and former owner of a successful Vancouver-based helicopter company, and aerial coordinator and pilot on countless film shoots are among his extensive credentials, and we’re happy to have him working for our organization.”
As the company’s Vice President, Steve Wright oversees business development, marketing, film coordination, and executive travel services in both fixed and rotary wing divisions. In addition to his work in aviation, Steve is a former member of the RCMP and a licensed realtor.
